Changing air filters on a variety of commercial HVAC equipment is the primary responsibility of the filter crew. You may also assist workers and journeyman by performing general duties of lesser skill, such as keeping them supplied with materials and tools; holding materials and tools; and cleaning working area, machines, or equipment. The ideal EMI HVAC Trades Helper performs any task as instructed while following all health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Dismantles devices to access and remove the dirty filters, using hand and/or power tools
- Installs air filters on various equipment on a scheduled basis; quarterly, semi-monthly, monthly
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
