Headlining the Carolina Ballet's November program is Rhapsody in Blue, a ballet that captures the exhilarating, heart-beating romantic pulse of George Gershwin's iconic music. The Ballet is a tribute to Gershwin and was choreographed by Carolina Ballet's Artistic Director Zalman Raffael and set to one of the most recognizable and iconic pieces of music, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.
The program will also include two brand new works by Principal Guest Choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett and Resident Choreographer Amy Hall Garner.
Carolina Ballet is one of America's premier arts organizations, presenting traditional ballets by legendary masters and new works by contemporary choreographers. Carolina Ballet has garnered critical praise from local, national and international media, contributing to the positive reputation of the region and ever-increasing quality of life found in Raleigh, the Triangle community and the State of North Carolina.
The registration fee for this day trip is $209 per person and includes a continental breakfast at check-in, comfortable motorcoach transportation, lunch at The Overlook Restaurant, and an orchestra seating. Snacks are served on the return trip! All registrants will receive a letter and email with complete instructions about two weeks prior to our departure date.
